Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• Experience in dental/healthcare/patient access preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple schedules and deadlines.
• Willingness to travel between SBHC and dental locations.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of all aspects of the School Based Dental Program and associated workflows.
• Manage dental recall lists and schedule preventive, restorative, and follow-up services.
• Manage parental consent forms, track expirations, and request updates.
• Schedule treatment, preventive care, 6-month rechecks, sealants, and follow-ups.
• Communicate with parents/guardians regarding appointments and consent requirements.
• Refer uninsured students to enrollment staff for insurance coverage.
• Coordinate with school personnel on availability, events, and operations.
• Maintain accurate patient demographics, registrations, consents, and scheduling data.
