Job summary

Under the supervision of a Licensed OTR, you will help students build fine motor, sensory, visual-motor, and self-care skills necessary for classroom participation. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Active COTA license or eligibility with Alabama State Board.
• NBCOT certification and CPR/BLS certification.
• Experience with pediatric populations or school settings preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and patience.

Responsibilities

• Direct therapy delivery to support students' IEPs and 504 plans.
• Classroom integration focusing on handwriting, sensory strategies, and mobility.
• Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and staff to implement accommodations.
• Track progress toward IEP goals and log service delivery times.
• Assist with adaptive equipment and environmental setup in school.
• Engage families to reinforce strategies at home.
