Job summary

Supplemental Health Care, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a school-based team for an FMLA leave coverage assignment in California, Lancaster.

You will work under an Occupational Therapist to support students' educational and developmental goals. This full-time role offers weekly pay and the chance to collaborate with teachers and families while gaining valuable pediatric, school-based experience and making a meaningful difference in students'

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited COTA program.
• Active COTA license/certification.
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Provide direct services to students in individual and group settings.
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with educational staff and participate in team meetings.
• Assist with monitoring progress toward IEP goals.
