Job summary

Orleans Southwest invites applications for a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Hardwick, Vermont. You will implement intervention and therapy for students’ fine and gross motor skills under the direction of an OT, and support current staff across multiple sites within the Supervisory Union.

You’ll document sessions, provide consults, assist with Medicaid billing monthly, participate in meetings, and contribute to goals, treatment plans, and discharge planning,

Qualifications

• Only applicants with a current certification as a COTA will be interviewed.
• Reliable transportation is required to report to multiple sites within the Supervisory Union.
• A full background check is required for employment.
• Attendance at New Staff Orientation on August 19, 2026 is required.

Responsibilities

• Implement intervention and therapy for students' fine and gross motor skills under the direction of the OT.
• Assist current staff in direct service across the Supervisory Union.
• Attend and provide feedback at SPED meetings, IEP reviews, and team meetings.
• Document all treatment sessions and Medicaid billing monthly.
