Job summary

EDU-Aids LLC invites qualified candidates to join as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a summer, full-time role within our educational team. You will support students with disabilities by implementing therapy plans and delivering direct OT services in collaboration with the supervising OT and school staff.

The ideal candidate holds an OTA Associate degree, current COTA certification, and strong communication and teamwork skills to foster an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current COTA certification.
• Experience with students with disabilities in school or pediatric settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapy plans under supervising OT.
• Provide direct OT services to students individually or in small groups.
• Develop fine motor, sensory, visual-motor, self-care and functional skills for academics.
• Collaborate with supervising OT, teachers, and child study team.
• Monitor progress and report outcomes to the supervising OT.
• Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and IEP compliance.
• Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
