PediaStaff is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support students in a school-based setting in Shelton, WA. You will work under the supervision of a licensed OT to promote functional motor, sensory, self-help, and independent living skills aligned with educational goals.

The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers and families, direct therapy in individual and group sessions, and documentation of progress while maintaining compliant records and equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State COTA license.
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with educators and therapists.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, paraprofessionals, and families regarding student progress and strategies.
• Document student performance and progress toward established goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely treatment records and service logs.
• Assist with monitoring, maintaining, and adapting therapeutic equipment and materials.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities as required.
• Follow district, state, and federal regulations related to special education services.
• Support students across a variety of educational settings, including transition and life-skills programs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
