PediaStaff seeks a local Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a school-based contract in Shelton, WA. The role runs full-time through the 2026-2027 school year, with a Monday–Friday schedule and 7 hours per day.

Start ASAP, end date June 18, 2027, servicing students from 5th grade through transitions up to age 22. The position offers competitive hourly pay, in-person school setting, and full-time benefits through a W-2 arrangement.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State COTA license required.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred.
• Ability to work in a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students under supervision of licensed OT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.
• Support students with fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and functional independence.
• Assist students in developing daily living and transition-related skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary education teams.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Recommend classroom strategies and adaptive equipment in collaboration with supervising OT.
