Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a contract assignment near Rensselaer, IN. You will support students in an educational setting, collaborating with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality OT services.

You will implement structured OT treatment plans under supervision, document progress, and work with teachers and families to promote student growth and independence throughout the school year.

Qualifications

• COTA certification and state licensure are required.
• Experience with school-based occupational therapy services is preferred.
• Ability to implement structured OT treatment plans under the supervision of an OTR.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective teamwork and documentation.
• Comfortable collaborating with educators, staff, and families.
• Adaptable, organized, and proactive in supporting student needs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out occupational therapy treatment programs as outlined by the OTR.
• Complete timely documentation to maintain compliance with school and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist with therapy activities, material preparation, and service delivery.
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to address students' unique needs in the classroom.
• Contribute to a positive, nurturing environment promoting student growth and independence.
• Flexibly perform additional duties as assigned by the OTR.
