Job summary

Health Source Group seeks Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide one-on-one support for students in a New Rochelle, NY school setting, starting in September. The role runs roughly 9:00 AM–2:30 PM, with some days extending to 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, monitoring student health, and reporting changes to the school nurse. Candidates must have NY State CNA certification, 6 months CNA experience, BLS/CPR, and be fingerprinted or willing to obtain

Qualifications

Valid New York State CNA Certification.
Minimum 6 months of CNA experience.
Current BLS or CPR Certification.
Must be fingerprinted through NYC DOE or willing to obtain fingerprints (fee: $104).
Physical completed within the last 12 months, including PPD and MMR.
Reliable transportation and ability to travel to New Rochelle, NY.
Must have onboarding documents ready for timely start.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one support to a student throughout the school day.
Assist with daily activities and follow the student’s care plan.
Monitor student’s condition and report concerns to the school nurse.
Follow school nurse instructions for health needs and emergencies.
Provide compassionate, attentive care while ensuring student safety.
Be prepared to support students with various medical needs under the school nurse.
