Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a contracted, school-based placement in Boulder, CO for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time Building Float role supporting a local K-12 district with nursing services.

Working with The Stepping Stones Group means consistent pay, clinical backing from experienced nurses, and support from a team that understands school-based nursing - not just staffing.

Qualifications

Active CNA certification.
Current BLS CPR certification.
Experience as a nurse's aide or nurse in a school setting.
Minimum of two years of special education public school classroom experience in addition to medical requirements.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be a flexible team player.
Only work during student attendance days, with 2–3 training days per year.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily health office duties and vital signs.
Assist with health screenings and health office inventory management.
Report student concerns, injuries, illnesses, and condition changes to the school nurse.
Implement student care plans as directed by the school nurse.
