Job summary

BBH Burrell Behavioral Health in Springfield, MO is seeking a Clinical Evaluator to perform comprehensive initial assessments and establish treatment plans for individuals of all ages. The role may include provisional diagnoses and referral recommendations within our programs, with potential supervision of trainees pending approval.

The Evaluator will conduct screenings, coordinate follow-up plans, and participate in emergency crisis services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related clinical field is required.
• Active licensure for the location and practice is required (e.g., LP, PLP, LPC, PLPC, LCSW, LMSW, PLMFT).
• Background check, driving record, abuse/neglect and fingerprint checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings and assessments to determine eligibility and appropriateness for services.
• Adhere to operational guidelines and ethical standards.
• Meet department goals, ensuring adequate direct client care hours and minimize cancellations.
• Maintain accurate client documentation within required timeframes.
• Document activities for data collection and reporting.
• Coordinate emergency services for crisis intervention when needed.
• Provide or coordinate follow-up plans and community resource referrals.
• Participate in staff development, trainings, and quality assurance processes.
• Comply with QA, compliance, and revenue cycle procedures.

Education

Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field

State licensure required for the location and practice (LP/PLP/LPC/PLPC/LCSW/LMSW/PLMFT)
