Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health in St. Louis, MO is seeking a licensed behavioral health professional to serve as Clinical Evaluator. Conduct initial screenings, assessments, provisional diagnoses, and treatment recommendations while coordinating with clinical teams to connect clients with appropriate services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, MFT, or related field.
• Current Missouri licensure or provisional licensure as LPC, PLPC, LCSW, LMSW, LP, PLP, PLMFT, or LMFT.
• Knowledge of behavioral health assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, safety planning, and referrals.
• Strong clinical judgment and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive screenings, clinical assessments, and diagnostic evaluations to identify needs, determine eligibility, and recommend appropriate services.
• Connect individuals with mental health, substance use, and community-based programs that align with their needs and treatment goals.
• Develop provisional diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and individualized plans based on assessment findings.
• Provide brief therapeutic interventions, safety planning, and crisis support when appropriate.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up services to promote timely access to care.
• Collaborate with clinical teams and service providers to reduce barriers, prevent missed connections, and support continuity of care.
