Job summary

OhioHealth in central Ohio is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer to fulfill a contractual agreement with local high schools. This non-exempt, contingent position supports athletic training services in school settings.

Evening shift with flexible weekly hours and travel with teams as needed; Ohio licensure and board certification are required. This role is part of the Athletic Trainer Outreach department within a health system dedicated toCare and outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School or GED (Required)
• Bachelor's Degree, Certified in Ohio by the OT/PT/AT Board as a certified athletic trainer.
• New Grad, prefer experience in school based sport related training.

Responsibilities

• 40%: Evaluates Athletic-related Injuries
• 40%: Provides Athletic Care necessary before, during, and after events as outlined by the school district
• 20%: Travels with athletic teams to away events depending on hours and availability of weekly scheduled hours
