Job summary

Sycamore Services, Inc. seeks a Career Coach embedded in partner schools to drive quality employment outcomes for students and coordinate internships, referrals, and training with VR and school staff.

The role focuses on supporting school personnel, providing resources, and collecting data to support the research project. You will liaise with collaborative partners, assist with transition planning and IEP-related activities, and help students and families access necessary supports through the

Qualifications

Knowledge of transition practices from school to adult life and community support services.
Must be able to keep accurate documentation.
Must have a driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Serve as the single point of contact representing the collaborative in the schools for the project.
Partner with Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS) and support the VR Counselor in guiding eligible applicants.
Assist the collaborative in marketing and promotional efforts for the project.
Participate in planning transition/career fairs at participating schools.
Provide support in identifying adaptations and job accommodations for student interns and school staff.
Support immersed internships/work experiences for students.
Attend monthly Career Coaches’ conference calls and statewide collaborative meetings.
Assist in gathering needs assessment data and participation details.
