Job summary

Blue Horizons in Torrance, CA is seeking compassionate Behavioral Technicians to support students with behavioral, sensory, emotional, and learning needs in local public schools. You will work with certificated teachers and school staff to provide individualized support and help maintain a safe, structured learning environment.

The role offers day shifts, Monday–Friday, and a starting pay of $23 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and paid sick leave; a 90-day new hire

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Patience and professionalism when supporting students.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow school procedures.
• Experience with documenting student behaviors and progress is a plus.
• Willingness to learn established behavioral support strategies.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students and assist the classroom team with daily educational and behavioral needs.
• Help implement individualized behavior plans and data collection in classrooms.
