Job summary

Kuna Joint School District 3 is seeking a CBRS Specialist to provide Psychosocial Rehabilitation services to students with emotional and behavioral disabilities at Crimson Point Elementary in Kuna, Idaho. You will work under the Special Education Teacher and Building Principal to implement individualized interventions and monitor progress.

The role involves direct student support, behavior management, data collection, and Medicaid billing, with a 184‑day calendar and a pay range of $20.02–$26.52

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science, education, human services, or a related field.
• 21 semester credit hours in human service fields (psychology, social work, special education, counseling, or psychosocial rehabilitation).
• Active USPRA certification or commitment to obtain certification within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and targeted rehabilitation therapy to students based on IEP goals.
• Deliver skill development training in behavior control, coping strategies, social skills, and adaptive daily living activities.
• Assist students in applying functional skills for school and community participation.
• Partner with the Special Education team to support IEPs and BIPs.
• Teach and model PBIS initiatives and support de-escalation and classroom reintegration.
• Complete timely Medicaid billing documentation and maintain confidentiality.
