Job summary

Poway Unified School District seeks a Behavioral Intervention Technician to assist with developing and implementing positive behavior intervention supports within student IEPs. You will work 1:1 or in small groups, support data collection, and help deliver ABA-based strategies in both in-person and virtual settings.

Responsibilities include creating visuals and materials to support learning, coordinating with teachers, and maintaining safe, supportive classroom environments while following

Qualifications

• Two years of behavior support experience in a school or home setting.
• Completion of 2 years of college level training or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Experience with ABA, behavior management, mental health systems preferred.
• BCBA certification preferred or actively pursuing it.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of positive behavior intervention strategies across IEPs.
• Assist with data collection and progress monitoring for behavior and social-emotional goals.
• Assist in development and implementation of ABA-based strategies and supports.
• Provide 1:1 or small group support to manage behavior and support readiness to learn.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement behavior supports and parent trainings.
