Job summary

RCM Healthcare Services is seeking a Behavioral Technician in San Francisco to provide direct behavioral, academic, and classroom support to students with IEPs. You'll implement behavior intervention strategies, support routines, assist with personal care, and collaborate with teachers and BCBAs to promote student success.

This role offers full-time hours in a school-based setting, with CPI certification preferred and educational requirements outlined.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of: ParaPro Exam, 48 college credits, or an Associate’s degree or higher.
• Experience with students with IEPs and behavior support is preferred.
• CPI certification preferred is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support students in achieving goals outlined in IEPs and BIPs.
• Assist with classroom routines, academic support, and behavior management strategies.
• Provide one-to-one and classroom-based support for students with behavioral/developmental needs.
• Assist with personal care needs including toileting, diapering, feeding, and mobility support.
• Accurately collect, document, and report student progress data.
• Utilize de-escalation strategies and implement safe physical interventions when necessary.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and BCBAs to support student success.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and additional duties as assigned.
