Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking a school-based Behavioral Health Therapist to deliver individual (and sometimes family) therapy to students, with treatment planning updates and intake assessments.

Minimum requirements include a Master’s Degree in Social Services or related field, licensure such as LCSW/LPC/LMFT, 2–5 years of experience, and a valid driver’s license; the role supports comprehensive mental health services across the Grand Center Arts Academy campus.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Services/related field.
• LCSW/LPC/LMFT/Equiv licensure.
• 2–5 years experience.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, and in some cases, family therapy to active clients.
• Updates the treatment plan to reflect therapy goals. Collaborates with other professionals regarding client participation level, progress, and setbacks.
• Completes intakes for individuals requesting services, assessing eligibility based on symptoms and history.
• Develops and facilitates education for clients.
