Job summary

At BJC HealthCare, a school therapist is needed for Grand Center Arts Academy in St. Louis. The role supports students through individual and family therapy, with ongoing treatment planning and collaboration with other professionals.

The position is Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM to 4:15 PM, year-round. A Master’s degree in Social Services or related field is required, with licensure as LCSW/LPC/LMFT or equivalent and 2–5 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Provides individual, and in some cases, family therapy to active clients.
• Updates the treatment plan to reflect therapy goals. Collaborates with other professionals regarding client participation level, progress, and setbacks.
• Completes intakes for individuals requesting services at BJC, assessing their eligibility based on symptomology, treatment history, and current needs.
• Develops and facilitates education for clients.
