Valle del Sol in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Mental Health Therapist - School Based to provide counseling, assessment, and crisis intervention for children, adolescents, and families in partnered schools and community settings.

You will collaborate with school personnel, caregivers, and treatment teams to coordinate care and support student success, delivering trauma-informed, culturally responsive services aligned with district calendars.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling or a related behavioral health field is required.
• Active Arizona behavioral health license or eligibility (LMSW/LCSW, LAC/LPC, LAMFT/LMFT) required.
• Arizona driver's license, liability insurance, and reliable transportation required.
• Experience in school-based behavioral health or with multidisciplinary teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group, and family counseling to children and adolescents in school-based settings.
• Conducts behavioral health assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation.
• Provides crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, and stabilization support as needed.
• Collaborates with school staff, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Facilitates therapeutic groups and psychoeducational interventions.
• Performs school-based observations and interventions as clinically appropriate.
• Maintains assigned caseload productivity and timely documentation.
• Travels between school campuses and Valle del Sol locations as required.
