Job summary

Valle del Sol in Phoenix is seeking a School-Based Counselor to provide behavioral health counseling, assessments, crisis intervention, and care coordination in partnered schools and community settings.

You'll support students and families with trauma-informed, culturally responsive care, collaborate with school personnel and interdisciplinary teams, and maintain documentation while traveling between campuses and community sites as required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Arizona behavioral health license or associate license (LMSW/LCSW, LAC/LPC, LAMFT/LMFT) per regulatory requirements.
• BLS certification and AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain within 5 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling for children and adolescents in school-based settings.
• Conduct behavioral health assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation per standards.
• Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, and stabilization support as needed.
