Job summary

The MUSC Community Physicians (MCP) seeks a School-Based Clinical Counselor to provide assessment, counseling, education and safety planning in collaboration with the clinical and school teams.

In this role, you will identify treatment needs, assess risk factors, and apply interventions and skill-building techniques for students, under supervision and guidance of the School Therapy Manager and psychiatrist.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or related field.
• LISW or LPC licensure required.
• 3+ years post-graduate social work experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 4-6 years work experience.
