Job summary

Delta-T Group seeks Behavioral Aide and Instructional Assistants for Chesterfield area schools for the 25-26 and 26-27 school years. The role involves supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and promoting personal growth within a quality program.

Candidates should have crisis prevention/de-escalation training, CPR in person, and experience with individuals with disabilities, along with strong communication skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Crisis Prevention and De-Escalation Training such as MANDT/TOVA/SAFETY CARE.
• CPR - in person.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities; facilitating personal growth and relationship building.
• Ensure a pleasant experience for the Individuals in a quality program
• Encourage personal skill development by showing, teaching, talking, and coaching
• Provide opportunities for Individuals to learn decision-making and problem solving skills
• Complete daily logbook process, and relay feedback to the Program Coordinator
