Job summary

Delta-T Group seeks Behavioral Aide and Instructional Assistants to support students in Chesterfield area schools for the 25-26 and 26-27 school years. Provide assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, aiding personal growth and relationship building in a quality program.

You will help learners develop decision-making and problem-solving skills, and maintain daily logbooks with feedback to the Program Coordinator. Prior CPI/CPR and IDD experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Crisis prevention and de-escalation training such as MANDT/TOVA/SAFETY CARE.
• CPR certification (in person) required.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Facilitate personal growth and relationship building.
• Assist in creating a pleasant experience within a quality program.
• Encourage skill development through modeling, instruction, discussion, and coaching.
• Document daily logs and relay feedback to the Program Coordinator.
