Job summary

FronteraCare in Taos, NM is seeking Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support students in the classroom with autism under BCBA supervision. You will help promote learning, communication, and social development through evidence-based ABA therapy.

This role offers full-time or part-time opportunities with ongoing supervision and growth within FronteraCare. A high school diploma is required, with a focus on reliability and compassionate family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school graduation (Diploma or GED).
• At least 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, sit on floors and/or child-sized furniture, and quickly move from a seated position to running stance.
• College enrollment or degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with BCBAs to provide therapy that transforms lives.
• Support the educational experience by assisting in the classroom setting, promoting learning, engagement, and social development.
• Create and assist in facilitating engaging and effective learning experiences for children with ASD.
• Use clear communication and positive reinforcement to help children reach their full potential.
• Complete daily progress notes related to the implementation of the intervention plan.
• Create an environment that fosters skill acquisition, functional communication, and school-appropriate behavior.
