Job summary

FronteraCare, in partnership with Taos Municipal Schools, seeks caring Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support students with autism in the classroom.

You will work with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), assist in learning and social development, and document progress notes. RBT certification support is provided, with supervision and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school graduation (Diploma or GED).
• At least 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, sit on floors and/or child-sized furniture, and move quickly from seated to running stance.
• College enrollment or degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to provide therapy.
• Support classroom learning, promote engagement and social development.
• Create and facilitate engaging learning experiences for children with ASD.
• Use clear communication and positive reinforcement to help children reach their potential.
• Complete daily progress notes relating to intervention plans.
• Foster skill acquisition, functional communication, and school-appropriate behavior.

FronteraCare is working in partnership with the Taos Municipal Schools to bring high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to students with autism and related developmental differences. What You’ll Do

• Complete daily progress notes related to the implementation of the intervention plan.
• Create an environment that fosters skill acquisition, functional communication, and school appropriate behavior for children.

Training And Development

• RBT Certification Support: 40-hour training, competency assessment, and exam support provided.

Location:

• Location: Taos, NM (school-based)
• Employment Type: Full-time or part-time opportunities available

The pay range for this role is between $22.00-29.00 per hour depending on experience.
