Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a School-Based Behavior Technician in Spokane, WA to provide one-on-one behavioral support for students during a consistent Monday-Friday school schedule.

You will help children work on social and communication skills, document progress, and follow behavior plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development or a minimum of one year experience working with children in related roles.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
