Job summary

Forte Behavioral Health LLC is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians in West Los Angeles, supporting LAUSD students. You will work under BCBA guidance to implement IEP-aligned strategies in classrooms, playgrounds, and cafeterias, helping children build skills and reduce challenging behaviors.

The role offers daytime Mon-Fri hours aligned to the school calendar, with hourly pay between $25 and $34 depending on experience.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
Experience with behavior intervention techniques or relevant training.
Knowledge of behavior management principles and IEP/BIP concepts.

Responsibilities

Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by BCBA or Behavior Specialist.
Provide direct support to students with behavioral challenges in classroom, playground, and cafeteria.
Use positive behavior support techniques to teach replacement behaviors and coping strategies.
Collect data on student behavior and progress using data collection tools.
Collaborate with school staff to create a cohesive support system.
Communicate progress with supervising BCBA/Behavior Specialist.
Participate in team meetings on intervention development and review.
