Job summary

Beacon Services of Connecticut is seeking a School Based Behavior Technician in Stratford, CT to support students with ASD within our public school division. You will implement tailored teaching and behavioral plans, work one-on-one with students to boost social, language and academic skills, and help ensure consistency of programming across settings.

The role is full-time, with a $1000 sign-on incentive and a starting pay rate of $23+ per hour based on experience and education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Education, Psychology, Human Services or related field.
• Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a plus.
• Must have personal vehicle to travel between sites and programs.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to improve social, language and academic skills.
• Implement teaching and behavioral protocols as designed by BCBAs.
• Record and summarize educational and behavioral data for progress monitoring.
• Provide continuity of programming in both individual instruction and regular classroom settings.
