Mead School District seeks a Behavior Technician to support students with behavioral and social-emotional needs. You will deliver targeted instruction, collect data, and assist in de-escalation strategies under administrator supervision.

Responsibilities include data analysis, collaboration with special and general education teams, and assisting in training staff on behavior interventions. The role involves frequent coordination and direct student contact in a school setting.

Qualificações

• Previous experience as Behavior Tech or RBT.
• MANDT or Right Response training or able to complete District training within first year.
• Experience with children and youth with disabilities.
• Training or experience with diverse groups.

Responsabilidades

• Provide instructional support focused on behavior, social, and adaptive skills.
• Collect and maintain data on student behaviors.
• De-escalate and manage crises as needed.
• Collaborate with special education and general education staff.
• Provide professional development on Special Education topics.

Formação académica

Experience as Behavior Tech/RBT

First aid/CPR certification
