Job summary

The ABRITE Organization seeks a Behavior Interventionist to support students in Santa Cruz County, focusing on classroom participation and behavior management for learners aged 5 to 18.

Role involves implementing behavior intervention plans, reinforcement systems, and data collection toward IEP goals. Training provided; opportunities for career development in education and psychology. Schedule is typically Monday-Friday, 8:00am-3:00pm, with driving within Santa Cruz County as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support students by implementing behavior intervention plans, reinforcement systems, and strategies to promote participation in academic instruction.
• Address less severe behaviors such as tantruming, noncompliance, and verbal aggression.
• Students supported at BI level are often in general education classrooms with support as needed.
