Job summary

Pine Hill Middle in Hephzibah, GA is hiring a Behavior Coach to collaborate with Richmond County schools to assess and implement behavioral interventions for students with disabilities from preschool through post-high school. This school-based role reports to the School Principal and requires a dedicated professional with strong data interpretation and communication skills.

The position is 190 days per year (10 months), exempt, and Grant funded.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: bachelor’s degree or higher in Special Education, School Psychology or Counseling.
• Certification: Meets Georgia state certification requirements.
• Experience: School-based behavior management and PBIS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess students’ functional behavior in classroom/home to design interventions.
• Demonstrate a strong foundation in applied behavior analysis.
• Design and interpret functional behavior analyses and interventions.
• Facilitate communication between students, parents and staff to implement plans.
