Job summary
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health seeks a Behavior Specialist Consult (BSC) for schools in Delaware. This 10-month, school-based role offers a salary of $65,000–$75,000 per year and includes the possibility to participate in Extended School Year (ESY) programming in the summer.
You will provide behavioral support to students with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities; conduct FBAs; develop and implement behavior intervention plans; and train school staff on effective strategies.
Qualifications
- Completion of an ABA master's program and actively accruing BCBA fieldwork hours towards certification or enrollment in a master's program in ABA pursuing BCBA certification.
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide behavioral support to students with autism, intellectual disabilities, and developmental disabilities.
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
- Develop and implement behavior intervention plans.
- Train and support school staff on behavior strategies.
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
