Job summary

Bucks IU is seeking a Behavior Analyst to implement evidence-based practices across on-site programs in Bucks County. The role requires conducting functional assessments, developing PBSPs, and providing staff training and consultation to promote positive behavioral supports in classroom settings.

The position emphasizes collaboration with district staff, adherence to IEPs, and active participation in meetings and program planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BACB) certificate required.
• BACB Behavior Analyst Supervisor Certification or willingness to earn it required to supervise Registered Behavior Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional assessments (FBA) using indirect and direct measures.
• Prescribe positive behavior support plans based on FBA.
• Prescribe feasible systems for progress monitoring.
• Provide staff training and consultation on prescribed interventions and progress monitoring.
• Model and provide feedback on prescribed procedures.
• Provide routine consultation on a mutually agreeable schedule with classroom teachers as per IEP.
• Attend IEPs for students with PBSPs (Positive Behavior Support Plans).
• Collaborate with colleagues to support departmental and organizational goals.
