Job summary

The Helix School is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide clinical leadership for behavior analytic services across the school, supervise Behavior Specialists, RBTs, and BCBA/BCaBA trainees, and support student learning through assessment, behavior plans, and program quality.

This role also involves participation in IEPs, staff development, and interdisciplinary collaboration to promote independence and self-regulation.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification in good standing with BACB.
• Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related field.
• Experience in school-based settings with FBAs and BIPs.
• Knowledge of California IEP processes and regulations.
• Experience supervising and training support staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing supervision, training, and feedback to Behavior Specialists, RBTs, and trainees.
• Ensure compliance with BACB supervision requirements and ethical standards.
• Develop and deliver staff trainings on evidence-based practices.
• Oversee assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of behavior services.
• Lead FBA/BIP processes and data-based decision making.
• Prepare IEP behavioral reports and present recommendations.
• Collaborate with teachers and therapists to support student goals.
• Deliver direct behavioral intervention when appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality and FERPA compliance.
