Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a BCBA to support students with academic, emotional, social, and behavioral needs in school settings nationwide. You will collaborate with teachers to deliver individualized services, monitor progress, and communicate with families using ABA strategies.

Observe students, develop behavior plans, create materials, and participate in IEP meetings, with opportunities to supervise RBTs and BCBA trainees.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or graduated from an ABA program and eligible to sit for BCBA exam.
• Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavior training and consultation to school personnel.
• Facilitate family engagement (general training, newsletters, access to external supports).
• Collaborate with external partners to support students, families, and staff.
• Observe students, analyze data, and conduct assessments to increase success.
• Write notes/recommendations and ABA reports from observations.
• Create and model behavior programs/strategies in school.
• Help create materials (visual schedules, token boards, social stories).
• Facilitate data collection to monitor progress.
• Develop behavior intervention plans with the team.
• Review data and provide follow-up consultations and modifications.
• Identify and assess behavioral difficulties affecting attendance and academics.
• Participate in team meetings and IEP conferences.
• Present ABA and behavior modification techniques to the team.
• Opportunity to supervise RBT, BCBA, and BCBA Trainees.
