Job summary

Amesbury Public Schools in Amesbury, Massachusetts seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support students with social and behavioral challenges. The BCBA will consult with teachers and staff, develop and oversee behavior plans, and ensure data-driven progress across classrooms.

Starting Aug 25, 2026, the position offers a full-time role under the teacher contract with a salary range of $58,859 to $104,074 per year.

Qualifications

Certification as Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
Experience in evaluation and treatment of students with behavioral challenges.
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Consult with team on behavior plans, curriculum modifications, and in-class modeling.
Assist in development and oversight of behavior plans across school environments.
Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments to develop Behavior Intervention Plans.
Communicate BIPs to staff and provide professional development for fidelity.
Attend Safety Care Training for de-escalation and restraints.
Understand IEPs and collaborate with staff to implement accommodations.
Communicate students' progress to parents respectfully.
