Job summary

Family of Kidz on Eastern Long Island, NY is seeking a Behavior Consultant / BCBA to support students with behavioral needs in school settings. The role offers part-time or full-time hours with either fee-for-service or salary-based compensation and will depend on caseload.

Responsibilities include conducting FBAs, designing BIPs, data collection and analysis, coaching classroom staff, and collaborating with IEP teams. Travel between districts for on-site consultation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in ABA, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
• NYS BCBA/BCABA or LBA certification required or eligible.
• Minimum 1 year experience with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Develop individualized behavioral supports with school teams.
• Conduct FBAs and design/monitor BIPs aligned with goals.
• Collect and analyze behavioral data to guide interventions.
• Coach staff on behavior management and data collection.
• Support IEPs and participate in CSE meetings.
• Travel between districts for on-site consultation.
