Job summary

The Anchorage School District is seeking a Behavior Analyst to develop and implement intensive behavioral interventions for students across grades. The role involves collaboration with teachers, psychologists, and administrators to design and monitor individualized supports.

Required BCBA certification, Alaska licensure, and a master’s degree in education or a behavioral health field, plus three years of relevant experience. NCI, CPR/First Aid, and Alaska driver’s license are mandatory.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in education or a behavioral health field.
  • Minimum of three years of experience with children/adolescents with developmental disabilities and/or intensive behavioral needs.
  • Board certification as a BCBA and licensed as a behavior analyst in Alaska.
  • Must complete NCI training within 30 days of hire.
  • CPR/First Aid certification required.
  • Must possess a current Alaska driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with teachers, counselors, and school psychologists.
  • Works with special education administration and building administrators on behavioral programming.
  • Develops and implements data systems aligned with PBIS.
  • Conducts FBAs and develops BIPs with staff and families.
  • Delivers professional development trainings on behavior management and data collection.
