Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctorate in audiology required and valid license in Iowa.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills are essential.
• Experience collaborating with educators, nurses and families is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen and identify hearing loss in children across districts.
• Conduct diagnostic and rehabilitative evaluations.
• Educate staff, parents and communities on early hearing detection.
• Participate in EDHI newborn hearing screening programs.
• Refer and coordinate follow-up with medical professionals and families.
• Provide family support and обуч with assistive listening devices.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA/FERPA.
• Coordinate calibration and maintenance of audiometric equipment.
