Job summary

Great Prairie Area Education Agency is seeking an Audiologist to coordinate hearing conservation services for students birth through 21 across multiple regions in Iowa. The role requires a Master’s or Doctorate in Audiology and current licensure, with strong teamwork and communication to support individualized education plans.

The position offers prorated contracts with orientation days, IPERS, generous paid leave, and a monthly cafeteria allowance of $1,050.00.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Audiology.
• Licensed by Iowa Department of Public Health and/or BOEE.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hearing conservation services for children birth to 21.
• Conduct screenings and diagnostic evaluations for identified children.
• Collaborate with educators and families to support IEP goals.
• Maintain audiometric equipment and ensure HIPAA/FERPA compliance.
• Provide family support and referrals as needed.
