Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Athletic Trainer to provide on-site medical coverage for athletes at the assigned partner school or community setting. The role includes treatment, rehabilitation, injury prevention education, and collaboration with physicians, PTs and coaches to ensure optimal care.

The position requires licensure and BOC certification, BLS, and the ability to adapt to variable schedules, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Current Athletic Training Licensure for the states in which you work.
• Credentialed as an Athletic Trainer through the Board of Certification (BOC).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Carry out rehabilitation programs after evaluation and treatment planning in collaboration with the medical team.
• Assess and administer first aid during practices and events, with physician referrals when needed.
• Oversee the athletic training room operations, ensuring supplies, coverage, cleanliness and safety.
