Job summary

Magellan Health seeks an ASACS Counselor for Stuttgart, Germany, serving Stuttgart High School and Patch Middle School. The role delivers school-based counseling and assessment, creating individualized care plans and supporting families.

The counselor will perform individual and group sessions, promote resiliency, and collaborate with local stakeholders to address adolescent substance use and mental health needs. Requires relevant licensure and CACREP accreditation awareness.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; CACREP accreditation preferred for counseling programs.
• Licensure/certification in one of the following: CADAC/CSAC/CAP/MRAS, and an independent practice license (LCSW/LHMC/LPC/LMFT/LMHC/PSY).
• Must operate standard office equipment and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Implements the ASACS Counseling Program at Stuttgart High School and Patch Middle School.
• Conducts comprehensive assessments and develops individualized service plans.
• Provides individual and group counseling, and family counseling as needed.
• Engages community stakeholders including garrison command on adolescent substance use issues.
