Job summary

Magellan Health in Netzaberg, Germany seeks an ASACS Counselor to assess referred adolescents and develop individualized service plans. The role involves counseling modalities across individual, group, and family settings, with a focus on resiliency and community outreach.

Works with stakeholders including garrison command on substance use trends. The candidate must hold a CACREP-accredited master’s degree and relevant licenses/certifications (CADAC, CSAC, CAP, LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, PSY, etc.)

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from CACREP-accredited program.
• Licensure as LCSW/LPC/LHMC/LPC/LMFT or psychologist at PhD level as applicable.
• Certification in CADAC/CAP/CSAC/MRAS or similar preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records and related office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Master’s degree from an accredited university (CACREP accreditation required for counseling programs).
• Drug and Alcohol Certification (MRAS, CSAC, CAP, etc).
• Licensed as an independent level provider Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor/Licensed Professional Counselor (LHMC/LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Clinical/Counseling Psychologist at PhD level, with clinical license.
• Must be able to operate general office equipment including but not limited to: computer, phones and related media and information devices on most or all workdays and have experience with electronic medical records.
• Ability to work under time pressure. and rapidly for long periods to meet deadlines.
