Job summary

Montgomery Public Schools seeks an individual to provide intensive behavior support services to students by collaborating with teachers and staff to implement behavior intervention plans during the school day.

The role requires an RBT credential and strong ABA knowledge, with responsibilities including data collection, behavior assessment support, and participation in IEP meetings. 187 duty days per year, with salary determined by rank and experience.

Qualifications

• Understands and applies basic principles of Applied Behavior Analysis in a school setting.
• Collects and reports required data and assists in graphing data.
• Assists with behavior assessments and implements ABA procedures with fidelity.
• Supports students during instruction and attends IEP conferences as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Understand and apply basic ABA principles as directed by a teacher/BCBA.
• Implements procedures for targeted behavior reduction with fidelity.
• Implements skill acquisition procedures for ABA services with fidelity.
• Collects and reports data and assists in graphing data.
• Attends parent conferences and IEP meetings as appropriate.
• Provides escort and assistance to students throughout school and community settings.
