Job summary

Devereux is hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work 1:1 with children and adolescents in a school environment. This role focuses on applying behavioral interventions and ensuring safety and positive outcomes for students.

You will receive supervision and ongoing training from field experts, with opportunities for professional development and a structured career path within Devereux. Shift is Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm, year-round.

Qualifications

• Requires RBT certification from the BACB.
• Experience: At least 1 year working with children or adolescents preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and supervision of the children.
• Work with children on a 1:1 basis in a school environment.
• Provide interventions to children with autism, IDD and speech-language disabilities.
• Deescalate and mitigate behaviors using PBIS.
