Federal Way Public Schools seeks an itinerant audiologist to evaluate and support students with hearing disabilities from preschool to 12th grade across various school locations. The role demands effective communication, a Doctorate in Audiology, and a commitment to fostering an inclusive environment. Responsibilities include evaluating students' hearing, maintaining assistive technology, and collaborating with educational teams. Applicant must have a current ESA certification and experience with diverse cultural backgrounds is preferred.

Formación

• Current Washington ESA Audiologist certification required.
• Experience with interventions for students with hearing needs.
• Ability to use sign language (ASL/SEE) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate students' hearing and make recommendations.
• Maintain hearing aids and assistive technology.
• Participate in IEP process and provide consultative services.
