Job summary

Children's Health Andrews' Institute is seeking an Athletic Trainer to provide medical coverage for local schools, primarily within the Prosper ISD system. You will work a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional game-night coverage and respond promptly to emergencies in the program; all care is documented per CHAI procedures.

Responsibilities include on-site athletic training at events, pre-game preparation, and collaboration with physicians, coaches, and athletic directors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training required.
• Texas Athletic Trainer license required upon hire.
• NATABOC certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required upon hire.
• At least 2 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training services at sponsored events as required.
• Respond to emergencies and urgent medical situations per program protocol.
• Document all injuries and care provided following injury assessment procedures.
• Coordinate with game staff, physicians, and coaches on player status.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of patient information.
