Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a School Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) in Snoqualmie, WA for a contract—full-time role at $60 per hour. The position supports deaf or hard-of-hearing students in educational settings and ensures effective communication during classroom activities.

ASL interpretation is used to translate spoken language for students, with responsibilities aligned to state and federal requirements. Candidates must meet professional standards and be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in American Sign Language.
• Associates or Bachelors degree in interpreting, deaf studies or related field.
• State Board Initial Sign Language Interpreter Certificate as applicable.
• Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) certificate as applicable.
• RID certification as applicable.
• Meets all federal, state and local requirements.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
